Thirty-two teams remain in the 2019 NCAA Tournament with the second-round action set to tip off on Saturday afternoon. March Madness has been in full swing with multiple upsets and exciting finishes thus far, and with eight games on the college basketball schedule for Saturday, more should be on the way in matchups such as Auburn (-2) vs. Kansas, Villanova vs. Purdue (-4) and Gonzaga (-13) vs. Baylor. Even if your NCAA bracket is already busted, there are still plenty of potential college basketball picks to cash in on. So before evaluating the college basketball odds and locking anything in, first check out the 2019 NCAA Tournament picks and predictions from the proven model at SportsLine.
This model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, has raked in the winnings for those following its picks. Over the past two years, the SportsLine Projection Model has returned over $4,000 to $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks. It also entered the postseason on a strong 11-5 run on all top-rated college basketball picks. Anyone who has followed it is way up.
Now the model has honed in on the 2019 NCAA Tournament bracket, studied the latest odds and revealed picks for every Saturday game.
One of the second-round NCAA Tournament predictions we'll give away: The model loves 2-seed Michigan State (-10) to cover against 10-seed Minnesota in a 7:45 p.m. ET tip.
The model has factored in the impact of Michigan State guard Cassius Winston. The junior point guard is the only player in the country averaging 18.0 points, 7.0 assists and shooting at least 40.0 percent on 3-pointers. He's joined by the strong inside duo of Nick Ward and Kenny Goins, giving the Spartans, who beat Minnesota by 24 in their last matchup, a big edge. The model is calling for almost 20 points for Winston as the Spartans cover nearly 70 percent of the time.
Another one of the 2019 NCAA tournament picks the model is backing: Kentucky (-5) wins and cover against Wofford in a 2:40 p.m. ET tip in Jacksonville, Fla.
Entering Saturday's contest, the model knows that Kentucky will lean on its athleticism. The Wildcats have 10 top-100 recruits and Wofford simply doesn't have an answer for the size and quality of players like Reid Travis, Nick Richards and E.J. Montgomery. With P.J. Washington expected to be out on Saturday, Montgomery should see an expanded role, and he's been playing well of late.
The model is calling for Kentucky to cover the spread in well over 50 percent of simulations, while the over 139.5 hits over 70 percent of the time.
The model is also calling for a favorite to get stunned in a game that will shake up the 2019 NCAA Tournament bracket in a huge way. You can only see it over at SportsLine.
So who wins every 2019 NCAA Tournament game on Saturday? And which favored national title contender goes down hard? Check out the latest college basketball odds below and then visit SportsLine to see which teams win more than 50 percent of simulations, all from the advanced model that's up more than $4,000 on top-rated college basketball picks the past two seasons.
